Counselling is the start of a new journey, which helps you to discover new parts of your personality. These new growths help to open new pathways of understanding about your self, and those around you.  Changing does not always have to be difficult, it can be very rewarding and successful in a mindful way.

Session Fees

I charge £45.00 for counselling and £50.00 for CBT

I work face to face, online via video call or phone sessions.

I can offer you a free 1/2 hr phone consultation to discuss your needs and let you know how I can work to support you.

It is important that you feel at ease with me as your counsellor and your phone consultation will give you the opportunity to ask questions and gain insight into what goals you wish to achieve from counselling. I will ensure you are comfortable and positively regarded in our therapeutic relationship and work to assist you in the areas of your life you feel you need to change or improve.


I can offer appointments on: Mondays , Tuesdays and Wednesdays - 9am to 6pm, Fridays 9am to 5pm and Saturdays 9am to 1pm.

Hi, my name is Charles and I have over 25 years experience in counselling.

I currently practice using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and I am also a qualified Person Centred counsellor. 

In my practice as a therapist I cover most counselling issues relating to stress, anxiety and depression. I also work with more complex issues such as OCD, PTSD, and Phobias helping you to gain insight and understanding into the complex thoughts and behaviours behind these issues.

I am also an experienced mindfulness practitioner and use these skills to help you to hold the difficult thoughts and feelings, and work at a deeper level with your triggers. My counselling practice also contains the use of Brief Therapy (6 sessions) or longer CBT (12 to 18 sessions). Both practices give you a confidential and non judgemental space to explore and focus on issues that you may be finding difficult to share with family and friends. My practice is designed to assist you in gaining skills and strategies towards balancing everyday triggers, and help you to reflect and focus on your personal growth.

Personal therapy helps you to unblock difficulties that are holding you back in life, and to learn new and pro-active ways around sensitive issues. CBT gives you the tools and coping mechanisms to help you deal with everyday triggers that would normally be missed when under pressure.

I work to ensure we have a collaborative relationship whereby I support you to focus in a goal oriented way towards a desired outcome. I also use Psycho-educational based tools to help you gain the right information which assists you in becomeing more insightful of what works for you.
