Personal therapy can be an amazingly positive and life changing experience, and greatly assist you to becoming more

self aware and self governing towards finding your own solutions to your problems.

You may feel a bit nervous or apprehensive about having personal therapy for the first time,

Here are the answers to a few frequently asked questions:

Q: Is therapy only for people who have had a major crisis?

A: Therapy is for anyone no matter how big or small the issue. If something is playing on your mind, holding you back in life,

disturbing your sleep or causing you emotional distress, personal therapy offers you a confidential and non-judgemental

space to talk through your thoughts and feelings.

Professional therapeutic support can help you gain control, develop new coping skills and create new behaviourism's

that can help you move forward.

Q: Will attending therapy be listed on my medical records?

A: No, your therapy is strictly private and confidential, we never share any of your personal details to a third party.

In the event of a medical emergency or risk of suicide, with your consent we can assist for your doctor or a third party to be contacted.

Q: How many therapy sessions will I need, and how often should I attend?

A: The amount of sessions you need, and if you want to attend weekly, fortnightly or monthly is entirely up to you. Your therapist

will be able to assess your therapeutic needs and review your progress. Weekly appointments may be beneficial to

begin with, then perhaps moving to fortnightly or monthly if you feel that works for you. You can end your therapy whenever you

want and return at any time.

Q: Is there any way to make therapy more affordable?

A: If you think you may struggle to afford weekly appointments, you can opt for appointments every 2-3 weeks or even monthly.
