Fiona Mackenzie - Integrative Psychotherapist,

Transactional Analysis, Counsellor & Coach. MBACP(Reg) EMCC UKATA

I’m Fiona and I am an experienced psychotherapist, counsellor & coach working with adults and young adults (16yrs and above).

I aim to offer a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment in which to explore your thoughts and feelings, to help you move beyond your perceived limitations and realise your full potential.

My therapeutic approach is integrative (using many and various therapeutic models) mainly drawing on the Transactional Analysis model, alongside Gestalt, Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic and CBT models.

For all of us there are times in our lives when we feel confused, distressed or unable to cope. Sometimes, just finding a way through difficult life events can seem impossible, or we may be struggling to deal with an event or events in our past and the feelings we experience can seem overwhelming and very confusing, Therapy offers the opportunity to achieve a greater understanding of ourselves and our emotional distress and through the process of therapy we can discover what holds us back, enabling us to change old patterns and find new ways of approaching and overcoming difficulties. This leads to better solutions, it enables us to be better grounded and take more control of our lives, improving confidence and self-esteem

Some of the areas I work with include, but are not excluded to:

· Anxiety & Depression

· Low Self-Esteem

· ADHD

· Trauma

· OCD

· Abuse and historical abuse

· Anger

· Relationship Issues

· Panic Attacks

· Stress

· Addictions

· Self-harm

· Grief & Loss

Coaching

The work of Life Coaching and Executive Coaching is to concentrate on personal and professional development. We can often find ourselves struggling to realise goals or make any significant progression in our work or personal lives.

The benefits of coaching are far-reaching. From providing clarity around the issues to promoting personal growth to enhancing motivation and accountability – it has the potential to transform lives in profound ways. Whether one is seeking guidance in career advancement or personal development or simply looking for support in navigating through challenges – engaging in a partnership with a coach can be an invaluable investment towards living a fulfilling and purposeful life.

Coaching can be beneficial for the following :
