About Me

Hi I'm Lauren, thank you for visiting my profile.

I am a HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist and Doctoral Researcher in Psychology.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, MA in Art Psychotherapy and am currently completing a PhD in Psychology.

I work with adults, children & adolescents who need support with mental health and emotional wellbeing.

My background

I am originally from Ireland and have recently relocated to Liverpool after spending seven years working in homeless and mental health services in Dublin and Cork.

I am a trauma-informed therapist and have extensive experience in working with complex mental health issues. I draw from both personal and professional experience in working with adults who have experienced childhood trauma.

I have worked across primary and secondary schools with children and adolescents experiencing mental health issues.

My doctoral research is on the female experience of autism and I have clinical expertise in working with autistic women experiencing mental health issues.

I am passionate about supporting children and adults in finding a way forward from their emotional difficulties. I provide a respectful and confidential space where my clients can express and explore their challenges at their own pace with no judgement.
